I think you need to tell people more than once because, face it, you of the "younger generation" have poor memories for things spoken vs. those that Tweets. (I admit that I could be wrong.)

Also, back in the day (yes, long, long ago) conventions/conferences were very loud so you couldn't hear what anyone said anyway, so you had to repeat everything.

I like your thinking about readership=$ (Be sure to mention HilariAwesome!).

So, people--hit that website and order those tees and prints!!!

I have a confession to make...

Because of panel 3, I unfollowed you on twitter. Now that SXSW is over, I'll follow you again, but I was getting pretty sick of hearing about it.

[...] As some of you may know we here at HWC have some pretty strong connections to other creators around the way. This includes the occasional lending out of yours truly (prindiville, if you didn’t see the by line) to help out with various projects. The most recent being the t-shirt collaboration you see above with Ross Nover of The System. Head on over to give it a look and to pre-order yourself one. [...]

I think it's ridiculous that there are not any official webcomic panels or events at SXSW. I bet most people at SXSW read webcomics.
