Venn F&%king Diagrams: The Shirt. Thoughts?

I’ve learned my lesson. When people say they want a thing on a shirt, they don’t want a reinterpretation of the thing on the shirt. They want the thing. On the shirt.

How’s this for a shirt design? Colors? I didn’t want to do another black shirt. Then again I want to do a shirt people will buy. So?

UPDATE: Thanks to all of your help, it’s been fixed up and is now for sale! Check it out here ยป

I am a tad confused what text will be on the shirt…. :)

    I like it! :)

  2. Samtaters

Anything but yellow (I suggest blue or green)! I despise yellow!

  3. susannahdon

    I'd wear it.

I kind of like the road-sign nature of the yellow…but that yellow is a little baby-poo-ish

  4. infant no 1

    I love it.
(You should have all of the text on the shirt.)
    {especially that sentence}
    [and this one]

  5. Hiyame

Em… I like the shirt, not the yellow… >.< Otherwise, greatness!

  6. rosscott

    OK so what color?

  7. retracdivad

if you make that a shirt i will buy it

  8. Kosine

I'd say Orange, but I always say Orange. Orange should be the color of more shirts.

You really can't go wrong with Blue or Green, though. Or Brown. VENN POOPING DIAGRAMS.

Make the shirt color maroon and show us an update of it in that color, or a shade of gray like a sweatshirt!

  10. Shawn Handyside

    I like it!

I like it, though I think the circles might need to be a little lower… like boob level. :) Because the two words that came to mind were "babydoll t-shirt" followed by "Hell. Yes.". Not on ME of course, but you get the idea.

Seriously though, I would buy one of these on red or orange or yellow. Something bold.

No yellow please. Thanks for trying something new however. I am also sick of black.
Try some bright colors, any color. Something that will catch the attention of onlookers, then give the shirt a puzzled look when they see it is about venn diagram fandom.

I'd agree with a blue, but a lighter blue.

  14. Jack

oh come on. All the shirts you can buy FROM THE INTERNET that are awesome are grey, or black, or blue, or light blue, or black, or maybe black, even.

This shirt is epic enough to get me to wear yellow, I would buy one. I might even wear it to work (I have an extremely odd work) and I'm already looking forward to it. Don't go back to some gross boring color that I've got a closet full of already.

  15. mini9tailedfox

    awesome shirt idea
light blue would be a good color IMO
    or green

  16. RossMification

Hmm…I haven’t had a yellow shirt in quite some time (high school maybe?) and this would be a great excuse to buy one.

    The diagrams should be bigger.
    The bigger, the better.

If you make a woman's shirt, the diagrams should identify the boobs.

    Turquoise should be good.

  18. JoJo McJosephson

    Text/pictures = good.

    Yellow = meh.

    purple would be grand …

  19. dernjg

    Lime Green.

  20. Erik

    Maybe a selection of colors?
A more vibrant yellow, orange, classic black and/or green?

  21. Kyle

Shouldn't one half of the diagram be white, and the other half be black with the center section being gray?

I would like this shirt in a lighter more vibrant yellow.

  22. rosscott

Turquoise. Hmm. I kinda like that.

  23. rosscott

If I had enough orders to do a selection of colors I would, but not sure I will.

  24. rosscott

True. I'll have to fix that.

  25. rosscott

I have / had the bike shirt on lime green, but I do love that color. May have to switch this out.

  26. Chris

Awesome. but why not offer different colors?

  27. Larom

To save on colors that would need to be on the shirt, you could cut it down to just Black printed on [insert color] shirt with the "Hell" Circle as an outline with black text, then the "Yes" circle with the circle being filled black but the word being a cutout back to shirt color, and the intersection being a screen-tone for 50% (like you seen in old Newspaper photos) of black dots / hatch lines.

  28. rosscott

I see what you did there.
