The System 366: Love in Place
You guys know I’m a big fan of key commands. This one kinda feels like a shirt, too. Hmm…
If you’re a big fan of the comic, it’s up on Reddit. Feel free to show it some love.
As for this past weekend, ROFLcon, and Super Art Fight, the short version is it was amazing. The longer explanation? Expect more on that later today / tomorrow.

Yeah dude, another shirt. Yes, this would have printed money this past weekend!

I want it as a T-Shirt!

Just keeping it real. This is for the mac-using, graphics-program-intensive, graphic design market of fans. All 5 of you. You're welcome.

I KNOW. I had to split the difference on the comic. Plus I wanted to use \”shift option command i love you\”.

Yes, I would like it as a shirt.
And, the best comment I found on it was:
:):)
Is there any way I can use the paste (maybe diluted?) in place of tomato sauce in my enchilada recipe?? It calls for one can of tomato sauce…and I only have paste. Thank you.

I don't like how every flavor of the Adobe Creative Suite handles Paste and Paste in Place differently.

I jsut hate how little consistency there is between all mac apps for "paste and match formatting" – in several it's cmnd-shift-option-v, and that's what I assumed this was refering to at first. (for the record cmnd-shift-v is the most logical sortcut for this of course)

i could not only see this on a tshirt, but the symbols punched onto a metal rectangle for necklaces, bracelets, etc. Too much? maybe. But I bet designers would buy it for valentines day. I'd certainly buy it for myself.

If yer gonna go all out, make it a tattoo :p

Well, its kind of like why I won't get a favorite typeface tat… the beautifully made proportions and delicate kerning will change with age. And who wants a floppy cmd? No one, thats who.

Just had to say, paste in place finally got added to Flash CS4, and it's by far the best new feature.
May 6th, 2010 at 3:39 am
It was in at least Flash 8 and before. Sorry you were missing out, but it's been in there.

thank you!

The sad thing is that PowerPoint actually pastes in place by default. That brings the sum of negative and positive features in PowerPoint to -254.5 . . .

Powerpoint also has a habit of jumping when you try and move something incrementally. There are no settings for this, it just does that.

Why in the name of all that's holy does this not exist in Photoshop?

Layer via copy and layer via cut aren't far off?
