The System 350: The Cycle of (Time) Suck
UPDATE: You can even buy this as a print from my store!
Today’s comic was largely inspired by two things:
- Loldwell’s awesome comic on his cycle known as “An Earful of Nothing”.
- The entirety of my professional career.
If you haven’t checked out Loldwell yet, you really need to. I linked to it a while back and it is always worth the read. He also does comics / illustrations for College Humor, but they don’t need a link cuz they are doing juuuuust fine.
You know who COULD use your help? ME! I could still use your help by preordering the new BEARD SHIRTS. They are only $17.00 plus shipping and preordering helps me figure out a lot about how many to order. I’m running preorder through the end of this week so be sure to PREORDER NOW!

A meeting? Possibly 2 hours? Never works out that way–there is the discussion prior about sports, etc. before anyone gets down to the purpose of the meeting. And then, there is coffee or a coffee break–I mean, how long can anyone sit?
And, of course, there is twitter. Face it, who is going to sit through any kind of meeting w/o checking who texted them?
Now, if you do a large conference call or a video chat, you might accomplish more–or not.
Or, keep to e-mails. If it is important enough for someone to actually care about the subject, they'll answer. If they don't care, they obviously don't have an opinion.
Seems like you would actually have the people who are really interested participate and not bother anyone who could care less.
I always vote for e-mails. (Plus, think of how much less time you would spend on checking your appearance, your personal hygiene–everyone does it.
So, save time! E-mail. And, that's my final e-mail on this subject. (See, I cared enough to participate:)
