But every pair of underwear should have THREE holes in it! One for your torso and one per leg… not to mention that boys unfairly get an extra hole beyond that.

Well, depending the purpose it can either be convenient in at least two ways (I'm guessing here on one way and it may surprise you as to which way I mean.)
I certainly wouldn't consider it disgusting depending on the color/pattern. Hey, I can be discerning as well.

Topologically, it'd only be 2 holes. Imagine filling in the leg holes, then flattening it out… it'd be like a plate, which is essentially a flattened sphere.
