My friends over at Slackerz were kind enough to post a link over to The System last night. Greetings to all you newcomers, and thanks for the link guys!

For those of you who haven’t read it, Slackerz is a great comic.  The artwork is fun and much more “fluid” and “expressive” than what you guys are used to here at The System.  I had the chance to meet these dudes at Connecticon, and they are pretty awesome.  I, like them, saw the dude dressed as Freakazoid with the bulge, but it didn’t say hi to me.

McSweeny’s (via Kottke) has a hilarious article about prepping for fall and decorating with AWESOMENESS.

I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to get my hands on some f_cking gourds and arrange them in a horn-shaped basket on my dining room table. That shit is going to look so seasonal. I’m about to head up to the attic right now to find that wicker f_cker, dust it off, and jam it with an insanely ornate assortment of shellacked vegetables. When my guests come over it’s gonna be like, BLAMMO!
