Let's hear it for people trying to get other people to keep away from their coffee when it starts out fresh! (Also may make them think that next time they should get in earlier, make the coffee and drink it all before anyone gets to it.)
Or, better than that, have the head of the office drink the last cup and therefore realize you all deserve an excellent cappuccino machine and make sure it is free!

It really annoys me when people say that whoever finishes off a pot of coffee should take the responsibility to make a new pot. So, what, you WANT people to make coffee that just sits around and gets stale and potentially never gets drunk? Seems pretty wasteful to me.
If you want coffee and there's none left, brew your own. It isn't hard and doesn't take that long, AND you get it nice and fresh.
