I feel the same way, but with Crystal Reports. "Hey, I need a report that shows me a break down of all work by employee, by building, by trade, by time, by day, by requestor, and by request number. I also want percentages, normalized, and I also needs labor costs, material costs, also compared with what we spent for the same work the last five fiscals. Oh and we need it for a meeting with the VP in 25 minutes."

Perfect! Could also take a bottle or carton of punch and poured it over the report. Wouldn't provide the same satisfaction but it would make it a more "punchy" report.
Definitely not as good as your idea though. Priceless!
