A while back I met the nefarious Noah of Skull-A-Day. It was nerd-love at first sight. Since becoming blog blood brothers, he was nice enough to send me a System in teh Wild post every now and again, and in return I put together a quick piece of artwork for his site. It’s also kinda in honor of The System’s 1-year anniversary, but more on that soon enough. I do not talk enough about Super Art Fight on my own website. Let’s start with the basics. Super Art Fight is a live event that is part graffiti art jam, part wrestling match, and part rock show. If this doesn’t already entice you, I don’t think you’re a big fan of my comic. Want more? Here’s a video from a previous show (I’m the one in the amazingly blue jacket).
Do I have your attention now? Good. I know you’re thinking, when and how can I go to one of these amazing looking shows? The answer is THURSDAY. That’s right, the night before Otakon, you can attend Super Art Fight 4 at The Ottobar, this Thursday night.
Can’t make it but still jazzed about the whole thing? The artists draw exclusively from suggestions that are given by the audience both in person and online. You can submit ideas for things to draw on the “big submission post” right here. We’ll be posting vids and pics afterwards, so you’ll see how it turns out.
