Score! French Presses ROCK! (or "Victory Presses" if you're my grandpa)

Well, actually having had both, made by a true gourmet chef, I liked both equally. What can I say. Guess I'm not a connoisseur.

How true!
Between the French press and a new stovetop Espresso maker, I haven't touched a drip coffeemaker in years.

For the last year I've been using a big Lexan plastic french press I bought for camping (unbreakable). It was part of a "minimization makeover" in my life.
But then I came to miss the occasional timed brew, and wish for bigger batches of coffee. So I bought a big ass Mr. Coffee.
All was well for a few weeks. Then came an extra early morning I wasn't planning on. The first two pots of coffee ended up all over the kitchen floor due to human error (don't ask). I broke the glass carafe while cleaning up after the second accident and am back to the french press again.

Understandable. I went french press about 3 years ago and never looked back. No buying filters and it never tastes burnt.
