Well, it's a good example of multi-tasking. And, honestly, what's the difference between engaging in some activity and "twittering" at the same time? Come on, guys, really!
And think of the + of having an extra computer is one crashes–spilled coffee, water, etc.
On the other hand of your computer crashes you do get to enjoy the downtime. So, whatever floats your boat.

I have 2 monitors at work. And I do dick around a lot. You might be onto something, there.

It might just be me, but…
Wouldnt it make more sense to have the monitors side-by-side?
You know, so you can see both at once?
Or is playing hide and seek with Windows part of the plan?

Having 2 monitors has never made me more productive, it just makes it so i can watch movies while I "work"
