Nice to know there is more way than 1 to communicate. Long, long ago in a galazy far, far away, there existed three modes of communications: phone, snail mail, telegram. (Snail mail actually got to its destination.)
So, is today's communication options more or less complicated?

Haha this is so true. I actually had this happen. First, someone emailed me. But i answered the text first, which was sent AFTER the email (they left their computer) so then i AIMed them, while talking over the phone. Only the next day did I check my email, and learn that the whole thing could have been avoided. Yay for internet.
