hahahah!!
…oh the amount of times i've gotten hit/almost hit by cars…….. cheers to staying despite all those reckless drivers who don't understand that bicyclists have the right to blast through red lights!

Ah, soo true! Definitely what bikers do and they do have the right of way (although I wouldn't try it on a highway).

Oh, my. Bikers in Chicago have this annoying habit of going through four-way stops without stopping or even slowing down. I'm terrified that one day I'm going to approach a stop sign, look both ways, and suddenly hit a biker as I touch the gas pedal.

A jerk on a bike is a jerk, whether you're a driver, or a cyclist, or a pedestrian. If anything, those of us who ride responsibly dislike these bad ambassadors even more than other people inconvenienced by them, because they make the rest of us on bikes look bad and they make drivers/walkers despise the lot of us. Please remember the next time you see one, he's likely the jerk you have to deal with in other areas of life as well – including the jerk behind the wheel that cut you off at the last intersection. They drive cars, too.

I was hit by a bike recently, checked both ways, started running and was blind sided by a guy who decided to run a red light from 2 blocks away…

Jerks continue to use every mode of transportation as the rest of us.
