Welcome, Comic Book Resources!

picture-2A few weeks ago, comic / webcomic journalist Brian Warmoth started a series on the site Comic Book Resources called “Webcomics to Watch”.  First up was Goats, then Penny Arcade.  Yesterday, the third in the 5-part series went up, about yours truly.  I wonder if I could call Rosenberg up and say “Hey, we’re both Webcomics to Watch, so let’s hang out.”  Probably not.

I have to thank Marty “F’n” Day, who got a mention in the article for helping write the ketchup comic, but did not get proper linkage.  His two current sites are both mucho awesome.  I also have to thank Rick Marshall and Gary “Fleen” Tyrell, whom I understand reccomended my coverage in the series.

Anyway, the interview was lots of fun to do, and I honestly think turned into a pretty good read.  So go check it out.  Then come back and keep reading my shit.

Guest Comic on Ansem Retort

The youngest webcomic artist I know, Ben Kahan, asked me to do a guest comic for his site, Ansem Retort.  I met Ben back at Connecticon 2008, and he’s been bothering the crap out of me and reminding me how old I am ever since.  I mean, I’m not that old, but the man is under the legal drinking age.  And he’s got over 500 strips under his belt!  Jeez, way to make us all look bad, Ben.  Still, I caved and did a comic for him.  Go check it out at his site, and read his comic.  Link.

I Lego NY

A NYC alum misses his home, and represents it with legos in many little ways. Some cute stuff. I get most of it, but I know I’m missing the joke with a few. Such is life. It’s still worth checking out (in a “I’m trying to kill time” sort of way). Link.
