JUSTIFY MY HYPE
FLEEN approvingly points to The System, an unusual comic using a limited set of icons (like the men’s room symbol!) for imagery.  It is definitely worth a read.

They are now eligible for a copy of our home game!

This weekend, our offices are hitting the road and taking our show to sunny and tropical Hartford, CT.  For those of you in the area, check out The System’s table for posters, mini-comics, and more.  I’ll be sure to post images here at some point, so stay tuned.

Here’s the posters I have at Connecticon.  Click for largeness.  I also have blown-up versions of the comic and mini-comics with some of the growing archive.  Oh, and some shirts and crap.  I’ll set up a merch page one of these days.  In the meantime, if you JUST CAN’T WAIT TO BUY SOMETHING, contact me.

Lots of people liked the flyers I had out at Connecticon, so I’m posting it here on the site.  Feel free to download, print, and distribute at your leisure.  To give you some idea of how this went, I filled out the entire thing while sitting at my table in an hour on Saturday.  (Ashley, you were there!  Tell them it really happened!)

Here at Rosscott, Inc., we have a few loves.  Mad Men on AMC is one of those loves.  The main character, Don Draper, is a great character.  Now there’s a site that tries to answer the question: What would Don Draper do?

My great friend Jami of Angry Zen Master has done me the honor of another great writeup.

My good friend Ross Nover returns to the webcomic world with The System! Ross uses those universal sign graphics as a framework for his unique brand of the funny. I think it’s bloody brilliant and I’m sure he’ll go far. When he’s standing up at his Comic Con panel some day next to those other guys, I will sniff back tears of pride and say to myself, I knew him when we were part of the Washington Webtoonists.

Congrats Ross! The System rocks the hardcore!!
